Impact

Overview
Dhakaiya Bites POS is an offline-first restaurant operations platform designed for practical day-to-day use. It brings order entry, tables, discounts, split payments, receipts, inventory, production costing, staff management, bazar requisitions, and reporting into one workflow.
Problem
Restaurant work should not stop when connectivity becomes unstable. The system stores work locally first and later synchronizes changes to the cloud when connectivity returns.
Engineering approach
- React and TypeScript for the product interface.
- Dexie and IndexedDB for local-first data handling.
- Supabase for authentication, cloud synchronization, role-based access, and reporting.
- Background sync queues, service-worker support, and protected routes for operational resilience.
- Excel, PDF, and CSV exports for payment and reporting workflows.
Key capabilities
The application includes POS ordering, menu management, stock entries, recipe costing, profit snapshots, staff salary tracking, purchase tracking, daily and monthly dashboards, and super-admin controls for user invitations and reporting.

Outcomes
